Featured in this lot is a signed intaglio etching of the Lehrkind Mansion in Bozeman, Montana done by Montana artist Barbara Coppock. The home was built by German-born master-brewer Julius Lehrkind, owner of Bozeman Lager Beer, at the turn of the century. To bless the house, each brick was soaked or "cured" in large vats of beer before being set. It is one of Bozeman's most beloved homes and one of the most representative of classic Queen Anne Victorians in the entire state of Montana. The beautiful Victorian style home was built in 1897, and features approximately 11,221 square feet of living space. It has 10 bedrooms and 11 bathrooms. This etching features the Lehrkind Mansion front and center with a floral design encompassing the house. At the bottom of the etching it is signed by the artist "Coppock" and dated "2002". It is titled "Sweet Pea" with "Bozeman, Montana" reading underneath the title. This etching is numbered 26 out of 90. On the back of the frame there is a Certificate of Authenticity with the artists full signature "Barbara Coppock". Overall this piece is in very good condition with no signs of damage to the etching or frame. The whole piece measures 17 1/4" L x 17 1/4" w x 3/4" D.
