Included in this lot we have a framed photograph from the Battle of Little Big Horn taken in 1896. The photograph was taken by Christian Barthelmess and shows the site where Captain Miles Walter Keogh Fell during the Battle of Little Bighorn. The photo displays eight markers where soldiers fell during the battle with a figure walking in the background. The photo is set into a wooden frame with a speckled off white border. The back of the frame shows information on the photographer, The Marker, and some information on the Museum. The piece shows good condition overall with some light wear on the frame. The frame measures 15 3/4" wide by 12 3/4" with the photo measuring 9 1/2" wide by 7 1/2" tall.
