Included in this lot for bidding is a set of three beadwork bags. The collection consists of two Plains Native American Indian beaded bags, and a handcrafted Japanese beadwork purse, made by Walboug. The Medicine bag shows a bald eagle, coming in for landing, and utilizes red, chalk white, corn yellow, black, crimson, robin egg blue, and greasy orange trade seed beads. The clutch shows a floral motif, and uses translucent beads, showing dark green, pink, and white. Both of the Native American Indian bags are based off tanned hide. The Japanese purse shows a gold tinted frame, and has a pearl securely fastened to the bags snap closure. The collection shows good condition overall, with little apparent bead loss on any of the pieces. The purse is the largest piece, and measures 6" x 7" without the length of the carry strap.
