Featured in this lot is this Bena Lulua Zaire, Africa hand carved man fetish. The fetish shows well-crafted construction with brass tacks shown throughout and feathers decorating the majority of the man fetish. The Lulua people are a Bantu ethnic group settled along the Lulua River valley in south central Kasai-Occidental province, Democratic Republic of the Congo. The condition of this fetish is good, with no obvious signs of damage. The measurements of this man fetish are 7 3/4" x 2 1/2" x 2 1/2".
