Featured in this lot is a pair of Bev Doolittle, framed prints titled “Guardian Spirits”, originating from the late 20th century. Bev Doolittle is a well-known American artist who is known for her creative art depictions of Native American and western scenes. The left print depicts a Native American brave seated on a white and brown paint horse on rocky snow covered ground with the start of a forest in the background. The brave is shown with a decorated hat made of a wolf’s head, a mountain lion pelt hanging as part of a saddle blanket, and a shield with a bear design across it. The print on the right shows a similar scene, with the brave and horse looking over toward the viewer with the wolf, mountain lion, and bear having come alive and staring, as well. The prints are set into a custom wood frame with a grey border. The piece shows good condition overall, with some light wear across the frame. The frame measures 19 1/4" wide by 12" tall with the prints measuring 6 1/2" wide by 7" tall.
