Featured in this lot is this Canadian Goose carved decoy from Bozeman, Montana Big Sky Carvers artist Sally McMurray circa 1995. The carving shows a wonderfully and professionally crafted heavy softwood construction that shows a masterfully painted and detailed design that shows wonderful paint strokes that lend the decoration to be lifelike and shows glass eyes. The decoy is marked on the bottom: Ducks Unlimited - 1995 So. Dakota Special Edition - Big Sky Carvers - Bozeman, MT and is signed by the artist above that and features a Ducks Unlimited medallion set into the bottom. The condition of this carved decoy is is fair to good with a slight repair to the neck of the decoy but otherwise shows fair to good overall condition. The measurements of this decoy is 9" x 17 1/2" x 6".
