Featured in this lot is this Big Sky Carvers ring necked pheasant carving from carver Chris Olson. This pheasant shows realistic construction with hand painted coloration that brings this pheasant to life; the carving is mounted on a hardwood shield. The artist's signature can be seen burned into the shield. There is a brass plaque that reads as follows, “Ring Necked Pheasant - Big Sky, Montana.” The condition of this hand carved pheasant is good, with no obvious signs of damage. The measurements of this hand carved pheasant are 11" x 19 1/2" x 8".
