Featured in this lot is this striking silver capped, brass inlay Bison horn tip with garnet gem stone slide on a four-plait braided leather bolo tie, circa mid 1900's. The bolo features a slide made from a Bison horn tip. The tip has a fine line of brass inlayed into the horn, running its length. The small end of the horn tip is capped in silver. The large end of the horn tip is capped in silver with eight graduating size drops. The top also has a trough setting of two Garnett gemstones and an artist mark. The tie is created from a four-plait braided tan and brown leather. The tie has unique silver tie points on its ends. The condition of this bolo is good, with no obvious signs of damage. The measurements from top to tip of this bolo are 18 1/4" and the bolo slide measures 4" x 3/4".
