The lot features an original oil on canvas painting titled, “Bison Under The Bitterroot” showing Buffalo on the plains under the Bitterroot Mountains of Montana with a Bitterroot plant in the foreground, painted by multi-generation Montanan, Melanie Markovich. The painting is signed lower right and on the back. The painting shows the Bitterroot Mountains of Montana and is titled on the back. Melanie Markovich is an American artist, born and raised in Manhattan, Montana on her families third-generation farm. Her work captures the beauty of our ever-changing Montana Western landscape. She has been shown in various shows and galleries and is truly an up-and-coming artist in Bozeman, Montana. The painting is done along the sides as well allowing the painting to be hung without a frame. The painting is brand new in great condition. Measures 6-inches by 6-inches and 1.5-inches deep.
