For your consideration in this lot is a hand carved Black Forest oak, hanging wall mirror originating from the early to mid-1900's. The mirror is set in a hand carved Black Forest oak frame, showing beautiful carved details of an eagle at the center and floral decor across the top. The floral part of the frame appears to be carved out of a single piece of wood. The eagle is carved out of its own piece and is secured to the top. The base of the frame shows indications of once having mounts attached to hang items. This wonderful piece is in good condition overall, with little sign of wear; the Gardner mirror is also in great condition. This piece measures 44" wide by 28.5" tall.
