Featured in this lot is a hand crafted black forest walnut statue or lamp stand with a wood carved deer bust, originating from the early- to mid-1900's. The stand displays walnut construction with a simple curved neck, three legs, and circular top. The piece features carved floral and vine style designs across the legs and top edge. The front of the stand displays a hand carved roe deer head design on a decorative shield plaque. The top of the stand shows a slightly recessed section with chains attached to the underside of the piece. The stand shows good condition overall and light wear due to age. It measures 31 1/4" tall by 14 1/2" at the widest.
