The lot features a wonderful early 1900 set of Indian tanned hide gauntlet gloves with floral beadwork from the Blackfeet (Blackfoot) Native American Indians of Montana. The set shows a trade clothe inside lining and a worn dark coloring to the hide. The fronts have glass trade seed beads in a floral pattern. The beadwork includes cut glass greasy yellow, cut glass semi-transparent green, pink, sky padre blue, black, and semi-transparent red with a semi-transparent blue border. The set shows hand cut long fringe accenting the outside edge. Each measures 12"L x 9.5"W with the fringe.
