The lot features a set of Blackfoot Native American Indian beaded leggings with long hand cut fringe. These are from the Blackfoot people of Montana and show a tanne dhide construction with glass trade seed beaded long strips showing cobalt, sky blue, and red in a geometric pattern having crosses. The leggings also show three rolled iron jingle cones with wound glass red white heart beads and a drop of Buffalo hair. The leggings have the most impressive long fringe accenting the outside of each leg. One legging also shows a brass covered metal hawk bell.
