One of the distinctive aspects of his work is his use of intaglio printmaking, especially his finely detailed chine-collé editions, where thin, hand-tinted papers are bonded to a thicker backing sheet during the etching process. These editions add subtle texture and warmth to his often gritty or nostalgic scenes, and have become highly collectible for their craftsmanship and limited availability.
