Featured in this lot is a 1937 pictorial map of Montana titled, "Montana; A One Page History Dedicated To The Old Timers" by Bob Fletcher and Irvin Shope, published by the Montana State Highway Department. This is a small edition of Irvin Shope's iconic map of Montana, showing trails including, "Lewis and Clark's route West", "Custer's Last March to the Little Big Horn", "Retreat of Chief Joseph's Nez Perces", etc. The pictographs represent animals, historical events, locations, etc. Overall this map is in good condition with no tears or signs of wear. The bottom right and left corners are slightly bent. The map measures 9 1/4" L x 12 3/4" W. The whole page measures 10" L x 14" W.
