For your consideration in this lot are two very collectable pocket tobacco tins. The first tin is for "Bond Street Pipe Tobacco by Philip Morris & Co. New York London". The tin has a very colorful street scene on its outside and a hinged lid. The next tin is for "Hi-Plane Smooth Cut Tobacco For Pipe and Cigarettes". The tin goes on to say, "Mild and Smooth For Pipe and Cigarettes". The tin has a hinged lid. Both tins show parts of the tobacco stamp from the time of purchase. The tins measure 4 1/2" X 3" X 1". The tins are in good, used, aged condition for their almost 100 year age and display minor rust.
