This is a rare edition of "Boone the Backwoodsmen the Pioneer of Kentucky" written by John S.C. Abbott and published c.1880. It is marked "The Boy's Illustrated Library of Heroes, Patriots, and Pioneers." The book is an amazing biography of one of America's greatest pioneers and features an illustrated cover and spine with other illustrations throughout. The book is in very good condition for age. It measures 5.25" x 7.25".
