Featured in this lot are three late 1800s to early 1900s brass powder flasks. These powder flasks show a great brass construction, with two showing intricate designs and one showing a smooth finish with no designs. The first and smallest powder flask shows a makers mark on both sides reading, "P. Powell & Son / Cincinnati". It shows elegant designs and features an adjustable spout for pouring black powder. The second and middle sized powder flask shows a nice brass construction and intricate designs throughout. The designs show birds towards the bottom and what appears to be a hunting dog towards the top, encased in borders with small floral designs. It shows two small loops on either side for connecting a carrying strap. No makers marks are present on this powder flask. The third and largest powder flask in this lot shows a simple, smooth brass construction with no designs present. It shows two metal rings on either side for connecting a carrying strap and features an adjustable spout for pouring varying amounts of black powder. All three powder flasks show good condition overall with wear present from their age and use over the years. No signs of major damage is noted. Smallest powder flask shows slight separation at the seam at the bottom. The smallest measures 7" L x 3 1/4" W x 1 3/8" D, while the largest measures 9 3/4" L x 4 1/2" W x 1 7/8" D. They have a collective weight of 1 pound and 6 ounces.
