Featured in this lot is this brilliant 1.51ct diamond and rubies platinum ring with AIGL paperwork. The ring features a wonderfully and professionally crafted platinum construction that shows a 'Sheffield & Sons' hallmark with a 'PT950' mark next to the hallmark. The center stone is a large natural brilliant cut diamond that shows measurements of 7.2mm x 4.7mm and shows a color grade of H and a clarity grade of I1 and a total weight of 1.51 carats. The centerstone is profusely decorated with a total 16 square trapezoid rubies with measurements of 1.5mm - 2.5mm that shows red coloration and a total weight of 2.25 carats. The outer rim of the ring face and pave shoulders are decorated with a total of 46 round brilliant cut diamonds that shows measurements of 1.3 - 1.5 and a color grade of F - G and a clarity grade of VS2- SI1 and a total weight of 0.54 carats. The piece comes complete with AIGL Inc.(American International Gemological Laboratories, Inc. a GIA certified lab AIGL#: K98D88-EA17865) report and appraisal confirming the above info and giving a total value of $21,048.00.
