Featured in this lot is a Bronson G. Stevenson Montana Sun River drawing. Bronson Graves Stevenson (1901-1989) was an American artist known for his western etchings. This drawing features a wonderful Montana landscape, depicting the north fork of the Sun River. The piece shows a winding river with a few rocks breaching the surface of the water. The rocky bank shows a close tree line with forested mountains rising in the background. The piece is marked in the bottom left hand side, reading "Primitive area North Fork Sun River Montana", and is signed in the right hand corner, reading "B Stevenson 1/41 - Bronson G. Stevenson". The art is set into a paper frame and shows good condition overall. The frame measures 20 " wide by 16" tall and the art measures 15" wide by 9 1/2" tall.
