Featured in this lot is this bronze over chalkware bear bookends circa early 1900's. There are two bookends in this collection that shows figural bears on their haunches and propped up with arms outstretched. The chalkware is coated with bronze over top of the chalkware bears. The bookends are marked on the backs of the base but are unrecognizable. The condition of this pair of bookends is poor to fair with one of the bookends showing damage to the middle of the bookend and the base of the bookend but otherwise in poor to fair condition. The measurements of the bookends are 8" x 6" x 4 1/4".
