Featured in this lot is a Buckaroo parfleche wrapped trade gourd canteen, circa early 1900's. The canteen shows gourd construction with a parfleche wrapped frame and a cork plug with a turned wooden lip. The canteen shows a leather strip shoulder strap. The condition of this gourd canteen is good, with slight wear to the outside walls and slight patina to the parfleche wrap around the gourd. The measurements of this canteen are 7 3/4" x 6" x 3 1/2".
