Included in this lot is a Buenos Aires Police Marked Orbea Double Action Revolver. This pistol is made by Orbea Y Cia in Spain. It is a copy of the S&W Model 1905. This revolver was originally issued to the police department of Buenos Aires. It is chambered in .38 Largo which is comparable to a .38 special or .38 Long Colt. The gun retains its original factory bluing and has developed a light patina. The double action works as intended. The original checkered walnut grips have been replaced with an oversized pair with thumb relief carved on the left grip. Overall the gun is in good condition. Serial Number: 6342.
