Featured in this lot is this collection of polished butterfly banner stone, rectangular two hole gorget, and polished grooved celt, circa Archaic period. There are three items in this collection, with the first showing a beautiful example of Butterfly banner stone with polished features. It was found from a site on the Chippewa River near Eav Claire, Wisconsin. The second is a wonderfully crafted rectangular gorget from Noble county Indiana. The third and final item is a polished celt with a singular double sided groove for attachment to a haft. The condition of this collection of banner stone, gorget, and celt is good, with the only big discrepancy too the celt with a large chunk missing from the bladed edge of the celt.
