The lot features three original, one set of two and one single, silver and copper circa 1800-1870's Southern Plains hoop and ball earrings from the Sundog Bruce VanLandingham collection. The set is comprised of silver hoops with a silver ball and are of a larger size, likely from a warrior / man. The other shows a copper hoop and silver ball, also of a larger size likely from a warrior / man. All three have a nice original patina and are well kept. Provenance: From the renowned Sundog Fine Art Bozeman, Montana collection and collected by Bruce VanLandingham. Bruce VanLandingham was a pillar in the American Indian collecting community and a respected expert. Along with being an avid collector, Bruce also was the sole owner of Sundog Fine Art Gallery in Bozeman, which was both part museum and gallery. Largest is 2"L by 1.75"W.
