Included in this lot we have a circa 1840-1870 percussion cap black powder pistol chambered in 60 gauge with beautiful hand engravings. The pistol displays a 9 3/4" long octagonal barrel, hard wood grips, metal lock plate and hammer system, and trigger guard. The pistol displays etched vine designs across the metal. The bottom of the pommel shows a engraved design and storage. The lock plate shows etched designs and working mechanics. The barrel is obstructed with material at the end. The metal displays a warm patina and light pitting across the exterior. The wood displays damage and signs of repair. This firearm qualifies as an Antique, and does not require FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
