Offered in this lot is a cira 1850 top "bucket" part of a plunger style butter churn. This bucket is made from wood staves held with two blacksmith foraged iron hoops. The bottom of the bucket rotates and has four holes. The staves of wood are loose in the iron hoops, but this part is in good condition, showing wear for its age.
