The lot features a set of circa 1870-1880's Frontiersman Buffalo fur leather gauntlet gloves. These Indian Wars era gloves are from the old West showing a nice curly Buffalo Bison fur outside with rich black to brown coloring covering the entire surface all the way around with the palm and inside of fingers having a nice leather. The inside has an old corduroy fabric lining. These are similar to the Fort Keogh Buffalo gloves previously listed in January 2021 and could presumably be of the same U.S. Army U.S. Cavalry issue for winter use. Each glove shows nice condition with no obvious major damage or shedding with each measuring 11"L by 7.5"W.
