Offered in this lot is a silhouette of President Abraham Lincoln in a hand crafted 24K Gold Plated Frame circa 1880. This is a photogravure print on woven paper. The Image shows a full-length side-view silhouette of President Abraham Lincoln, facing right, framed in a landscape. The printed image is very bright and clean. The velvet-black ink and fine etched lines make the silhouette of Lincoln appear three dimensional. The image measures 3 1/2" x 2 3/4". the frame measures 5" x 4". The frame is marked on the back "HAND CRAFTED 24K GOLD PLATE". This item has a fair amount of damage to be expected with its age of over 140 years
