For your consideration are Thirty-six (36) Indian Photo Postcards c. 1890-1960. The majority of the photo postcards were taken in Montana and included members of Blackfeet, Sioux, Crow, Flathead, Cheyenne, Taos and Yakama Native American Tribes. Mostly black and white, a few of the photo postcards are hand-colourized, a photographic practice that was in its infancy notably made famous by the Haynes Studio of Yellowstone National Park and St. Paul, MN. Scenes are of Glacier National Park and adjacent reservation towns including Browning. The photo postcards are in good condition with a number are personalized with cancelled postage stamps.
