For your consideration is this collection of three (3) Adventure books from various authors. The first book in this collection is a special edition titled, "A Tramp Abroad" by Mark Twain, illustrated by David Knight and published by The Heritage Press in New York, and copy-righted by The George Macy Companies Inc. in 1966. A Tramp Abroad is a work of travel literature, including a mixture of autobiography and fictional events, by American author Mark Twain, published in 1880. The book details a journey by the author, with his friend Harris, through central and southern Europe. The book is stored in a tan slipcase and features a nice blue textured hard cover with an embossed image of a traveler on the front cover. The spine features the author, the title and the publishers in gold gilt lettering. The book has many black and white, as well as colored illustrations. The book shows very good condition with no signs of wear or obvious damage. The interior pages show good condition as well with no tears or signs of foxing. The book measures 9 7/8" L x 6 7/8" W x 1 1/4" D. The second book in this collection is titled, "High Country" by Courtney Ryley Cooper, published by Little, Brown and Company in Boston and cop-righted by the author in 1925 and 1926. The book features a colorful front cover with purple, orange, and green colors making up a mountainous canyon scene. The title and authors name sit below the front cover illustration. The book features numerous black and white photos throughout the book. Overall the book shows good condition with no signs of obvious damage. The interior pages and photos are in good condition as well showing no tearing or signs of foxing. The book measures 8 1/4" L x 5 1/2" W x 1 1/4" D. The third and final book in this collection is a second edition of, "Pierre And His People: Tales Of The Far North" by Gilbert Parker, published and copy-righted by Stone & Kimball in Chicago in 1894. This book is a collection of short stories following the main character 'Pretty Pierre' throughout his adventures. The book shows a cloth bound cover with gold gilt lettering on the front cover and spine, with a thin rectangular border on the front cover. The book shows fair condition as the front cover, spine and some pages are loosely connected. Some interior pages have staining or slight foxing from its vintage age. The book measures 7" L x 4 1/2" W x 1" D.
