The lot features a beaded tobacco pouch from the Arapaho Native American Indians of the early 1900’s. The bag exbibits an Indian brain-tanned buckskin hide and measures 17 inches long including the fringes by 4 inches wide. An original tie strap is still attached at the top. The pouch is beaded on both sides showing different geometric designs. The beadwork shows a greasy white background with pattern in corn yellow, semi-transparent light blue, green and semi-transparent rose. The pouch is in good overall condition with little to no bead loss, tears or repairs and only minor wear.
