The lot features a circa 1900-1920’s Victorian Shell Cameo pendant necklace set in 14K white gold and showing a natural Diamond set as a hair brooch on the shell itself. The piece shows an octagonal typical Victorian design with intricate filigree work showing an oval hand carved shell cameo at the center having expertly and finely detailed carved a Victorian woman with beautiful appearance and flowers and showing a 14K bezel set natural old European diamond set in her hair. The piece itself was originally a pin, with pin back still attached and necklace strand of 14K Italy attached at the top. The pine has exquisite detail and coloring and is truly a fantastic piece. This comes with a gemology report and appraisal from IAS (Independent Appraisals Services) which confirms the info as being a 11.36 gram 14K white gold cameo necklace set with on 40 x 30 mm cameo and 0.18 carat weight natural diamond with H-I color and SI3 clarity along with giving the necklace a $3,900.00 value (# 294020EW), see pictures for a copy of the report. Stamped on the back of the pin 14K.
