Offered in this lot is a circa 1910 original oil landscape painting by C.M. Agner. C. M. Agner was active in Sacramento California and also filed for a patent for ‘1,190, 973 Transmitting Means for Wireless Telegraphy Enables sending of signals by unskilled persons." Patent issued July 18, 1916. This landscape shows a stream running through rolling hills with oak trees. The painting was done on a piece of wood that is set in a heavy wood frame. The painting is signed C.M. Agner in the lower right corner. The art shows 23 1/2" x 19 1/2" and the frame measures 27 1/2" x 23 1/2". The art and frame are in good condition with no signs of major damage
