For your consideration in this lot is a circa 1920-1940's Wild West show Native American woman dress. This dress is made of a heavy tan cotton fabric with leather accents and beading. The front has a "V" neck with suede and holes for lacing. Down the front are four leather diamonds with seed bead trade bead work on them. Fringe is on the shoulders, sleeves and bottom of the dress. On the back are four strings of large wooden beads, a diamond with seed beads and a leather appique of a timber tree. The dress measures 50" from the top of the back of the neck to the bottom of the fringes and 20" across the back shoulders from armpit to armpit. The dress is in good to fair condition.
