The lot features two Yellowstone National Park guidebooks from the Northern Pacific Yellowstone Line and Burlington Route railway dating from circa 1920’s to 1936. The first is the circa 1936 Yellowstone guide book from Burlington Route and Northern Pacific railway titled on the first page Magic Yellowstone, dated on last page 1936. The book shows 11 Gustave Wilhelm Krollmann illustrations of Yellowstone as well as other photographs, in good condition. The second is the earlier edition of the previous guide book / guidebook showing a textured cover with of Yellowstone from Northern Pacific Yellowstone Park Line titled, Magic Yellowstone with a bust of a the Yellowstone bear. The book shows many Haynes photographs and at the center the original Yellowstone Park 1927 Poole Bros Chicago 2-15-28 map with red line color. A nice early likely 1927 and 1936 Yellowstone guidebook set in good condition. Each measures 10” by 7”.
