For your consideration in this lot is a collection of C. 1940 photographs of Montana Thoroughbred horses and people. The first photograph is of seven women. The photo is 7" x 2" on a board 10" x 5". The next photograph is of five men and four boys in front of a barn with horses and wagons. The photograph is 8" x6" on a board 11" x 9". On the back of this is a had written note "Thank you for your kindness and favor you have done for the museum. Max Clovite(?). Next are nine (9) photographs of different Thoroughbred horses, some under saddle. The next three items are "two shot" Race win photos. On top is a photo of the horse crossing the finish line and below is the horse and important people in the winners circle. Two of the he photos measure 91/2" x 71/2" on a board that measures 123/4" x 103/4", the third measures 131/4" x 111/4". The last item is a race win photo in a board folder, in this folder are two photographs and two newspaper clippings. The folder measures123/4"x91/2". These items are in good condition.
