Featured in this lot is this Navajo Valero Stars Eye Dazzler rug, circa 1920s. The rug features a wonderfully and professionally crafted wool construction. This is a very sturdy heavy rug that presents Valero Stars along the outside border of the rug that become more squat to the ending of the rug and shows eye dazzler decoration throughout the central portion of the rug with coloration of a light grey field and white intrusive dazzler design. The Valero stars are multicolor and include orange, light blue, maroon, and off white set to a heathered black and brown border coloration. The rug features a Lazy Lines throughout the rug consistent with showing age and authenticity of the rug. The condition of this rug is well preserved with no obvious signs of damage and shows a well preserved overall condition. The measurements of this rug is 27" x 60".
