Featured in this lot is a Mexican Saltillo serape eagle blanket circa 1930s. The serape features a wonderfully and professionally crafted wool construction. The blanket features the Mexican eagle with a snake in its claws. It has a banded design of light grey and black and shows fringe on either end of the blanket. The blanket is sewn from two separately constructed patterns. The condition of this Mexican Saltillo is good with no obvious signs of damage and shows good overall condition.
