Offered in this lot is a framed piece of embroidery American Folk Art showing four birds. The fine needle work that made this art is apparent. The embroidery is done in a shinny satin thread, giving depth to the birds feathers. The fabric has aged and has some discoloration but the stitching is in good condition. The frame has light damage and wear to be expected from age. The dust paper on the back of the framing is quite damaged. The embroidery is done on a large piece of tan heavy cloth that shows 21 1/2" x 15" in the wooden frame that measures 23 3/4" x 17 1/4".
