Offered in this lot is a rare c.1930's brass navigational signal ship lantern. The lantern was made by the Perkins Marine Lamp Company of Brooklyn, New York. It's a red and green glass, bi-color, navigation lantern, constructed of brass. The lantern has no inner workings, and is just the brass and colored glass housing. The lantern is flat backed with a sleeve to fit on a paddle to hold it in place. The lantern is 10 3/4" tall to the top of the hanging loop, 5" across the flat back and 4 1/2" thick. The lantern is in fair condition with a few minor dents from use, but with the glass whole and not cracked.
