The lot features two original Haynes Studios Yellowstone National Park pieces, the 1936 Haynes Catalog 36 and the 1949 Haynes Souvenir Album. First the circa 1936 Haynes Catalog 36 which is marked as Copyright 1936 and is a complete catalog of Frank J. Haynes Yellowstone National Park photography including the guidebooks, illustrations, Trees and Flowers guide, Magic Lantern glass slides, Maps and more. The last piece is the Haynes Souvenir Album of Yellowstone National Park a collection of scenic and wild life photographs with descriptions edited by Jack Ellis Haynes and published by Haynes Studios Inc., Bozeman, Montana. The piece is marked on the back of the title page under the foreword that it is printed in the USA Copyright 1938-,1939 and 1940 by Haynes Inc., Yellowstone Park, Wyoming; Copyright 1949 Haynes Studio Inc., Bozeman, Montana. The album shows many black and white Yellowstone photographs and comes in the original Haynes Souvenir Album folder. Both are in good overall condition for their age with no obvious major damages. The album / folder slip measures 10.25” by 8 1/8”. The catalog is 11” by 8.5”.
