Featured in this lot is this 1939 cloth "Welcome Home" flag intended for U.S. Troops returning to the United States. The flag shows a thin cloth construction and shows colors of red, white and blue and black lettering reading, "Welcome Home" set in the center of the flag. The back of the flag has some writing in marker reading, "36 1/2 D-929 5-12-39". The flag shows good condition with no signs of obvious damage present. The flag measures 24 1/4" L x 51 1/4" W.
