Featured in this lot is this rice pearl ruby and 14k yellow gold ring circa 1940's. The ring features a wonderfully and professionally crafted solid 14 karat yellow gold construction with a outstanding deep carved and textured work, ring setting and shoulders and is stamped '14k' on the inside of the ring band. There are a total of 19 rice pearls that shows wonderful luster and cream and pink coloration. The pearls are decorated with a total of five round brilliant cut rubies with an approximate measurements of 2.45mm x 2.55mm x 1.67mm (the stone was measured in setting) and a approximate weight of 0.32 carats (the stones weight was calculated with an online calculator) and shows deep red coloration and wonderful luster. The condition of this ring is good with no obvious signs of damage and in good overall condition. The overall measurements of this ring are 1 1/4" x 3/4" x 5/8" and shows a ring size of US 6 1/2. The collective weight of this ring are 14.4g.
