For your consideration is this amazing Inuit Eskimo carved walrus tusk animals set on whale bone circa. 1960-1970s. The walrus tusk carvings show a polar bear standing on his hind legs with his teeth bared and paws ready to strike on the left side, and on the right is a caribou with no antlers looking into the distance. Both carvings are set on a piece of whale bone showing a darker color. The bottom of the whale bone is carved with an indecipherable signature. The carvings show good condition with some slight cracks. Overall the entire piece is in good condition with no signs of obvious damage. The piece measures 5 1/2" L x 11" W x 7 1/4" H.*
