Featured in this lot is this sterling silver and cripple creek turquoise squash blossom necklace circa 1970's from Navajo silversmith Larry Vi Fowler. The necklace features a wonderfully and professionally crafted sterling silver construction that shows eight blossoms adorning the double strand portion of the necklace chain that shows sterling silver beads strong on the strand, each blossom features a total of twelve pear and oval cut cripple creek turquoise cabochon set into the face of the blossoms. The central naga pendant shows wonderful quality with 62 total pear and oval cut cripple creek turquoise cabochon; the turquoise set into this piece shows a beautiful luster and shows streaks of mineral spider webs and shows colors ranging from greenish blue to deep blue. The necklace features a signature from Larry Vi Fowler and includes a 'sterling' stamp near the signature. The condition of this squash blossom necklace is good with a slight patina due to age but otherwise in good overall condition. The measurements from clasp to clasp are 20 1/2" and the central naga pendant measures 3" x 3" x 1/8". The collective weight of this necklace is 138.4g. The piece is nicely marked as shown.
