Included in this lot we have a C. C. Worthington copy right print dedicated to France's fatherless children originating from the mid 20th century. This print shows the original image of two women in armored shirts each holding a flag with the statue of liberty in the background between the two figures. Both of the figures show red hats with a olive wreath, armored shirt and white skirt with a sword at their side. The figure on the right is shown holding an American flag and is marked "York Town" above her with the figure on the left is shown holding a French flag and is marked "Verdun" above her head. The bottom of the print is marked "Copyrighted by C. C. Worthington, Shawnee-on-Delaware, PA" on the left side with the right marked "Dedicated to France and Sold for the benefit of her Fatherless children". The print is set into a wood frame with a dark brown border around the print and archival glass in the front. The piece shows good condition overall with some light wear across the top of the frame. The frame measures 15 1/2" wide by 21" tall with the print measuring 9 1/2" wide by 12 1/2" tall.
