For your consideration are two C.M. Russell framed prints. Charles Marion Russell, also known as C. M. Russell, Charlie Russell, and "Kid" Russell, was an American artist of the American Old West. He created more than 2,000 paintings of cowboys, Native Americans, and landscapes set in the western United States and in Alberta, Canada, in addition to bronze sculptures. The first print is titled, "Renegades Return" and shows three Native American warriors returning home with multiple horses as they trudge through a large river. The Native American in the front is wearing a large fur hat and holds his rifle across his chest as he rides out of the river. The print shows great attention to detail and vivid colors. The artist signature can be seen in the bottom left hand corner reading, "C M Russell" along with his iconic buffalo head skull. The visible print measures 9 5/8" L x 13 5/8" W, while the entire piece measures 11 5/8" L x 15 5/8" W. The second print in this collection is titled, Our Warriors Return" and shows two Native American women filling up water buckets in a small river as they look into the distance to see the warriors returning home. One is kneeling on the ground fetching water while the other stands and shields the sun from her eyes as she watches the warriors return in the distance. They are wearing bright colored clothes and necklaces. In the background, you can see tepis and another tribe member on horse back walking towards the group of tepis. The print shows great attention to detail and vivid colors throughout. The artist signature can be seen in the bottom left hand corner reading, "C M Russell" along with his iconic buffalo head skull. The print and frame show good condition with no signs of obvious damage or wear present. The visible print measures 9 5/8" L x 13 5/8" W, while the entire piece measures 11 5/8" L x 15 5/8" W.
