"Western Life for Eastern Boys" is across the top and "Flying ‘D’ Ranch, Gallatin Valley, Montana" is across the bottom. The Flying D Ranch started in the late 1800's during the "cowboy" days of Charlie Russell. Charles Marion Russell (1864-1926). C.M. Russell is Montana’s finest artist and the most renowned and well-known cowboy artist of the 19th and 20th Century. The frame is wood with grey matting. The lithograph is on cream paper. The frame measures 13 1/4" x 11 1/4" and the shown artwork measures 7 1/2" x 5 3/4". The frame and artwork appear to be in good condition with no obvious signs of damage.
