For your consideration are these two titles by cowboy artist Charles M. Russell. The first is a 1946 copy of the 1927 title, "Trails Plowed Under". This is Montana Cowboy classic western storytelling and illustrating by one of the all-time masters of the art. The second, "Good Medicine", is made up of letters that Charlie Russell had written and the fine sketches therein contained. The letters were published just as Charlie had printed them, some are typed and some are hand-written. All of them include original sketches. There is also a humorous introduction by long time friend Will Rogers as well as a biographical note by Russell's wife, Nancy. This copy is believed to be a second edition, it has copyright dates of 1929 and 1930. Both books are in very good condition; neither has a dust jacket. The larger of the two measures 11.75" t x 8.5" w.
